When a database is dropped using the DROP DATABASE command, you might have noticed the command completed successfully and of course, the database is dropped but you could still see the data files of the dropped database on the disk.
This happens for various reasons one of the common scenarios is the database could have been in offline mode when the drop database statement was executed. In this case, the data file should be deleted from the file explorer.
